Join us on a journey of exploration to polar regions beyond the reach of other expedition vessels. The icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikoy is five times more powerful than conventional ships. And, it's the only tour vessel to offer regular sightseeing flights and landings by helicopter - an essential feature of icebreaker operations and a highlight of our voyages. In addition, our ship carries a fleet of Zodiac landing craft and an experienced expedition staff to guide you.

Sail with us into spectacular fjords surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers, and land by Zodiac at remote island sanctuaries. In the High Arctic, we visit with some of the world's most northerly peoples and explore historic sites of early exploration. Be among the few to ever have visited Wrangel Island, a world famous nature preserve surrounded by the formidable pack ice of the East Siberian sea. On our Antarctic voyages, we explore the Far Side - a region on the opposite side of the continent from the Antarctic Peninsula, calling at Emperor Penguin rookeries and little- explored coasts. Only a true icebreaker like the Kapitan Kh1ebnikov can take you there.

Beyond the pleasures of wildlife and history, these voyages offer a rare opportunity to experience an almost untouched world in safety and com- fort. Carrying just I 1 6 passengers, the atmosphere aboard the Kapitan Khlebnikov is casual and unregimented. Travelers discover well appointed cabins, good food and large public areas.

Sail with us to a rarely-visited world guarded by the ice - where nature still reigns.
