How about the living area? |
A. All our RV's have a shower, bathroom, full galley, dinette, storage areas, and comfortable beds. They have roof air conditioning and a furnace with automatic thermostat control, stereo sound system, water heater, range with oven plus a microwave and a large refrigerator/freezer. In short, all the comforts of home.

What about housekeeping supplies and equipment? |
A. For our tour guests, just about everything you need is supplied towels for bath and kitchen, sheets, blankets, pillows and pillow cases. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, glassware, flatware, serving and storage dishes, even an electric toaster and coffeemaker. (Additional charge for Alaska Motorhome Rental guests.)

How is the driving in Alaska? |
A. Much like driving any two-lane rural highway in the lower 48. There's less traffic and more road construction. Roads are sometimes bumpier. Some of our itineraries include travel on unpaved highways where pave ones are not available. In your documents package we give you helpful driving hints, and will update you on road conditions for your specific itinerary when you pick up your RV.

Just what will my RV be like? How big, what kind of layout? |
A. Technically, it's a Class "C" motorhome: late-model? with 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission. It's in A-1 condi-tion. Depending on the size of your party? your preferences and vehicle availability, it will be between i8 and 29 feet long, and will sleep 2 to 6 people. The larger models provide plenty of room and privacy for families and other guests. (See layouts.)

Will I find my RV hard to drive? |
A. No-it will be very similar to driving a van or a pick-up. For most of our guests, this is their first experience with an RV. and they give us high ratings for "ease of driving."

If I've never driven an RV before, will you help me learn what to do? |
A. Yes; every guest is given a very thorough briefing on operation of the RV before setting out. With our toll-free Roadside Assistance number you'll always find us close at hand if you have further questions. you maintain, you should get 8 to 12 miles per U.S. gallon. You'll use regular unleaded fuel.

What if I need assistance? |
A. You're not alone out there. Help is handy if you need it, at ser-vice areas we have arrange-ments with along the way. You may call our special toll-free number, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for Roadside Assistance. We'll help you solve the prob-lem, or get you to someone who can. No telephone? No problem. Each RV is equipped with a portable CB radio and guests are briefed on monitored channels during their orientation.

What about insurance? |
A. Each vehicle is fully covered with an insurance policy from a highly rated insurance company. All statutory limits are met or exceeded. Each driver will be charged a nominal fee for vehicle insurance.

Is there a security deposit required? |
A. Yes. There is a $500 deposit required before departing on the land portion of your tour. It will only be used in the event of damage or unreasonable condi-tion of the RV at the time it is returned to us.

What kind of paperwork is required? |
A. First a Guest Registration Agreement will be mailed to you and must be completed, signed and returned to us prior to your departure. Second, there is a brief procedure for checking in and checking out your RV. That's it!
